Between 1997 and 2001, as Transfield Services Industry Development Manager – Rail, David was a key member of Transfield’s successful bid team for infrastructure maintenance contracts with this Team securing works valued in excess of AUD$150 million per annum.

His experience on infrastructure projects has been focussed on the rail and road transport, quarrying and resource industries for Transfield Services Limited, Fessl Pty Ltd, John Holland Pty Ltd, Australian Steel Mill Services, BMI - Boral Limited, State Rail Authority and more recently in his own consultancy practice, Bull Head Services Pty Limited, which was established in February 2002.

During his 5 years with Fessl Pty Limited between 1992 and 1997, David initiated and developed that Company’s Quality Management System and their Quality Assurance Certification. In addition, David established a consultancy business within the Company and successfully performed consulting assignments for State Rail Authority, FreightRail, Baulderstone Hornibrook, Leighton Contractors, Rail Access Corporation and Transfield Maintenance.
